How to become a SAPD Officer

SAPD basic rules:

POINT1.The accepted standard duty weapons are (Pepper Spray, Baton, 9mm, Deagle, Rifle, Shotgun)
Officers are equipped by SAPD with Baton, Pepper spray, Deagle, SMG, and other weapons can be bought in Ammunation. The SMG must be used carefully, because its a special duty weapon. Abusing the SMG or other weapons (& non-supported weapons) will result serious punishment.



* When the police officer is allowed to use guns:


1) If someone's life, or your (the police officer) life is in direct danger, the police Officer is allowed to open fire without any warning.

(No matter if the suspect is unarmed; the officer can open fire at him)

2) When the suspect is escaping from a police officer, the officer is allowed to use their gun, after warning him "stop or i shoot".


* When the police officer is NOT allowed to use guns:

3) Against an unarmed attacker, the officer can use only hand to hand combat, or the
Nightstick/Pepperspray. (except if the situation is like point (1) )

4) Against idle/not moving suspect, the officer is not allowed to use guns, only body force or nighstick or pepperspray is allowed.

(if the suspect is holding a weapon, but not moving, an other unit must cover the officer who is taking action)

5) Do not use firearms against a group (e.g Protestors). Firearms are to be used against a single suspect provided the weapon usage requirements are met.

Drive-by rules:
-When the suspect(s) is/are in a faster vehicle or shooting at the officer who is sitting in the car, or the suspect(s) is/are threating life and the officer has no time to exit from the vehicle. In that case you can use drive-by shooting. (In any other situation drive-bying is forbidden)

* -When the suspect is escaping with a plane/helicopter/boat.

(Drive-bying from driver seat is not allowed, the only exception is for the police bikes | as biker not allowed to shoot at players with driver drive-by.. you may only shoot at vehicles when receiving fire from their passangers.)

Unless your life or someone else's life is in danger due to the suspect, you must always warn before opening fire such as /m1, /m2, /m3, If they refuse to stop, you can drive-by if the points above meet.

Using SMG on foot:
-If the officer gets involved in a big shootout and the suspects are heavily armed.
-When the officer is blocking/or trying to stop an escaping vehicle, he can use the SMG to destroy the tires. (In any other situation using SMG is forbidden)


POINT 2. The SAPD command staff advises every officer to use only the suggested duty weapons.

Of course when theres an extreme situation and the command staff sees the different weapons were neccesary, you wouldnt receive disadvantage for that. But for example an unarmed suspect wanted for pissing in public and running away from the police/evading, and you pull out combat shotgun and blast him.. Thats WRONG, and you will fall away from promotions and awards. Our aim is to arrest the suspects alive and not to execute him!!!
POINT 3. Against armed suspect who is evading and causing threat, you can call SWAT team.. if you feel you can not catch the suspect with only SAPD/RLPD forces. You are still allowed to engage any suspect, but SAPD officers should give priority to both their lives and that of the criminals. Many criminals are inclined to give up to SWAT.
POINT 4. When the suspect is wanted only for minor crime (traffic violation) dont dispatch swat, even if he is escaped by sports car. Use tactic, and work as team to apprehend the evader!
POINT 5. The SAPD Command staff advised every officer to use marked police vehicles ONLY, and for organised patrols, the police vehicles will be promoted without exception!
If you are in pursuit and the only way to continue the pursuit until backup arrives is by commandeering a non-police vehicle, you are allowed to do so. However as soon as the suspect is apprehended or sufficient backup arrives you are obliged to return the vehicle to its owner, after having it repaired and filled up with petrol as compensation for your use.
If you are SAPD member and you are using civilian vehicle, the command members can question you about why are you using non-police vehicle and may take action against it.
(Civil vehicles allowed: Towtruck, Securicar)

* Civilian aircraft can be used for certain events, like patrolling the airspace or pursuit.

POINT 6. When pulling over a citizen for any kind of offense, SAPD officers should never use the suspect command if their intention is to fine the citizen. SAPD command will not unsuspect for having paid a fine if the citizen is suspected by an SAPD officer. This should be communicated to RLPD officers as well, until it is a clearly known rule.
POINT 7. SAPD officers should always invite new RLPD officers to join their patrol and show them their methods of work. Any fellow law enforcer should be treated as a partner, and any form of disrespect towards lower ranks or non SAPD officers can and will lead to punishment, including suspension or firing from SAPD.
